This video shows how you can insulate and air seal the space in the attic above the kitchen cabinet soffit boxes and the basement stairs ceiling.

The frustrating part of this job was that the homeowner had blown in 10 inches of cellulose a few years earlier, but never air sealed. We literally used snow shovels to move the cellulose around in the attic. Our fee to the homeowner was primarily labor and some foam.
