Here are the links to the Home Performance by Energy Star programs for all participating states. These programs offer cash incentives and rewards in addition to the federal tax rebates. If you are insulating or air sealing definitely participate in these programs to lower your costs. Be sure to hire contractors that are participants of the Home Performance by Energy Star, commonly called trade allies, or you may not qualify for the cash incentives. Qualifying contractors have been trained by this program and they must perform quality work or be dropped from the program.
